  • All Years Reunion / Big Birthday Bash / October 6, 2013

    The next highlight of our 75th Anniversary year will be an All Years Reunion at the school on Sunday, October 6th, 2013.

    Due to overwhelming demand, this event is at capacity!

    Tickets are no longer on sale and we do not expect to sell tickets at the door.


    12 noon - 1pm Registration
    1pm - 5 pm Lunch, followed by a celebratory program

    Admission includes: a gourmet boxed lunch, a complimentary gift and a day of celebratory activities.


    Festivities will include lunch, student-led tours, a salute to Bronx Science faculty, and guest speakers. There will also be a membership sign-up table where attendees can learn how they can stay connected to the school.

  • 75th Anniversary Gala / April 20, 2013

    The Flagship Event of the 75th Anniversary took place on April 20, 2013. Hundreds of Alumni, their guests, current students, their families, and notable figures from the schooll's history gathered in the Waldorf Astoria for an evening celebraing the school and its rich history.

    The evening was cochaired by Peter Klein (1983), Leonard Lauder (1950), Richard Menschel (1952), Robert Menschel (1947), and Sajal K. Srivastava (1993), and honored special guests Majora Carter (1984), E.L. Doctorow (1948), Jon Favreau (1984), Daniel Libeskind (1965), Anthony Marx (1977), and David Saperstein(1953) Video of the ceremony will soon be available.

    The evening raised over $1 Million, which will help to fund transformative education programs and state-of-the-art capital improvements at Bronx Science – including science labs, computer technology, library, and performing arts facilities. The 75th Anniversary Gala Benefit will ensure that Bronx High School of Science continues to thrive as a model for public education in both idea and in practice.   • Technology & Entrepreneurship Day / April 19, 2013

    A Technology & Entrepreneurship Day took place at the school, during which alumni from various years who have been involved in building, financing, and working at startup technology ventures, returned to the school to connect and share their knowledge with interested current Bronx Science students.

  • Holocaust Studies Center Opening / April 19, 2013

    The Holocaust Studies Center of the Bronx High School of Science was begun by former teacher, Dr. Stuart S. Elenko, in 1978. It was one of the very first Holocaust Museum/Libraries to open in the United States. Today this Holocaust resource is recognized as one of the most significant Holocaust Programs in the nation and has had over 58,000 visitors from around the world.
